Editing

Serving as an editor for Sigma requires only 10-15 hours of work a semester, split between the following responsibilities:

• Reading, editing, & preparing a paper for publication
• Frequent contact with an editing partner and the paper’s author
• Weekly check-ins with the lead editor, likely in the form of short zoom meetings
• Attendance at one in-person kick off social at the beginning of each semester to meet the rest of the Sigma team in person
  

This position is unpaid, but is a great way to gain skills and experience in the areas of editing and publishing.
